we were eaten alive last night by the mosquitoes….i’ve counted over ten bites just on my right ankle…so you can imagine. but looking at these images and seeing all of the gorgeous sun flare seems to have made it all worth it. seeing the lovely colorful shapes of light and the overall haziness adds a fantastic and dreamlike quality to the image…or to the story. photographs with these elements always make me wish i were in that place, at that very moment, with a book in my hand and a camera strapped around my neck.
i think i may just venture down to this spot once again for some more me and camera time; but this time i will be packing bug spray.
