last session, an engagement.

this was my last session until mid october! yay me! this was such a fun session, these two were so comfortable and easy going in front of the camera!

i’ll be shooting their wedding in december, and i am so excited!

hope everyone is having a great week! i’m getting caught up on everything…man, i think i always feel like i’m playing catch up; anyone else feel like that too? and my days are so funny lately, because i can only do a few things, and then after a couple of hours in the morning, i can barely move my legs anymore and have to sit down and prop my feet up. oh well, we’re getting closer!

k and g engagements!

these two were so much fun to take pictures of, and really they were just so much fun to be around. katherine and greg are so sweet to one another, i just loved it! one of my favorite things about this shoot was the location we took pictures at, at the very end of the session; it’s where greg proposed to katherine! how cute is that? and how gorgeous is that spot?

congrats you guys!

sneak peek engagement!

sneak peek of a beautiful engagement session i was able to shoot last week. this was my favorite spot we hit, and it is where they got engaged!

some changes will be coming to bap (brittany andersen photography) and i’m very excited to announce them and put them into play. we’re still working on the details, so once they are finished, i’ll let all of you know!

also, we get to find out what we are having in a couple of days, so that announcement will be coming soon too!

lots to look forward too, keep checking back!

wedding invites, the sugar queen, being responsible, and a valuable lesson…i think.

Utah Wedding Photographer- Engagement print exampleshad fun this evening working with this bride and groom on their invites…

and now, i really need some beauty sleep…seriously, i stayed up half the night reading the sugar queen. i probably would have stayed up later and finished it, but at 3:45 in the morning, my husband startled me by saying, “britt, turn off the light and go to sleep.” at first i didn’t know if he was actually awake, because the other night, he reached over to his alarm clock at around one in the morning, turned on his noisy radio, and told me he was “turning off the natural gas.” i asked him again what he was doing, and he replied with the same answer, “i’m turning off the natural gas.”

unfortunately, he really was awake this time, and i was breaking my own “no reading past midnight” rule. i seriously need to grow up. wasn’t i supposed to go through the reading under my sheets with a flashlight phase when i was like 13?

anyway, i have learned a valuable lesson from this…at least i think i have…maybe i will tell you the valuable lesson that i think i have learned in the morning, after i get some sleep.

night!

p.s. i finished the book this morning while eating a bowl of cheerios. a delightful book written by sarah addison allen. you must read it.

these have been a long time coming…sorry bout that. katie and mike’s engagement session was so much fun. we met at the gateway mall in slc and hit the shops. my favorite part of this session had to be the end though, when they jumped in the water fountain in their dress clothing, and got completely soaked! it looked like so much fun, and i’m totally wanting to do this again!

funny story, the cabin we stayed at for our family reunion this last week, happened to be katie’s family’s cabin! my mother-in-law happens to be really good friends with katie’s grandma…and we had no idea!

anyway, i’ll be back with more posts. i have lots to catch up on!
