i’m surprised i finally got these done. i took them kind of late in the day, seeing as my time is hardly ever my own, but they turned out okay! liv didn’t love getting her picture taken, i’ll show you those outtakes later!

bre’s beautiful bridals

my gorgeous friend bre is getting married, and i am so excited for her! bre and i grew up in the same neighborhood, did music dance theater together in high school and in college, and were even roommates for a time. yup, we’re awesome. i had a blast taking pictures of her and tyler, and am so excited for them!

after the session, bre, tyler, laura, brandon, and i went and ate some delicious mexican food at a place called “the red iguana.” it was sooo yummy, i’ve been trying to think up excuses to somehow get to slc so we can eat there again! thank you laura, and congrats bre and tyler!

i tried getting this video up for hours yesterday! i was so sad i couldn’t get it up, but thankfully, my husband was able to figure it out for me when he got home. thanks babe!

we went to the park for family night and had so much fun. ella loves to be outside, so we are planning on having a pretty eventful summer! i’m so excited!

mini sessions day!

what? a mini sessions day! i will set aside a 2 hour block, and will be scheduling up to four 20 min. portrait sessions. cost for session and disc – $75

when? i just checked the forecast and it’s supposed to be rainy and snowy for the next week and a half! there is one day that looks like it might be warm and rain/snow/hail free; and that day is wednesday the 5th. if this day doesn’t work, we’ll schedule the mini sessions day on may 14th or 15th (fri. or sat.).

where? an orchard similar to the one in this image below. when you book your mini session, i will give you directions to the location. i was hoping for blossoms, but the weather might destroy that…but look how pretty the orchard is even with out the blossoms! (p.s. it just started to snow outside).

how? to book a a mini session slot, send me an email, and you will be placed on the list. i’ll respond with a time, location, quote, and contract.

i’m so excited about this mini sessions day! we will have a few “props” available for the shoot if you are interested. i don’t usually love photos that look like they used “props,” and would prefer if the items in the photos really belonged to you! that way, the images really reflect your real life much better! however, i know that adds more stress to the whole family pictures situation, and it’s more important that we just have tonz of fun! so if you are interested in participating in our mini session day, send me an email!

i’ve been taking care of these two for the last few days…both sick. elle has had a fever for four days, and the week before she had roseola. having a sick baby and husband is no fun.
