we had lots of family come into town a while ago to celebrate my husband’s grandma’s 80th birthday! it was so much fun to see and spend some time with everyone! plus, we got to eat some really yummy food at “chef’s table.”oh, and the cake was my favorite. it was so good! i’ll have to find out who made it and let all of you know, because believe me, you want to know!
and thanks to nana and papa andersen (my mother-in-law and father-in-law) for entertaining ella! she loves you guys so much!
took some fun pictures of my husband’s family to go into a book for grandma andersen’s birthday. such a beautiful family…love the shot of ella not looking at the camera. we’re still struggling with that. truthfully, i’m fine with her not looking at the camera. i love every picture of her!

have you ever photographed a multi-multi family shoot? do you know what i mean by “multi-multi family?” it means, great-grandma and grandpa, grandmas and grandpas, moms and dads, and little kiddos. did i get that right? well, anyway, this was a big group of awesome people, and i had so much fun photographing them on their fun family day!

i loved this session. loved the family, loved the location, loved their outfits, loved how they interacted with one another, loved everything! family sessions are so much fun, and the pictures you receive after are gorgeous and will always bring back wonderful memories.

i had such a blast shooting the f. family alongside my sister. we have known this group for forever, and truly consider them family. i can even tell you some awesome things about them, or things that i learned from them!
sarah taught me how to playfully torture my younger sibblings…have you ever heard of the “name 10 cereals” game?
emily is one of the most creative people i know. seriously, the woman can do anything. she is like a super hero. thomas and i used to play basketball all the time. he was really nice about how awful i was. kris is one of the most brilliant people ever, and matt is what i like to call a golden boy; he has the sweetest heart ever. i could tell you something about the rest of the fam, but my fingers are about to fall off…i’ve been on the computer way too long!
