dallin

dallin, my cute and very very smart brother-in-law. i like to call him a golden boy. he is so sweet, when i was pregnant, he was always pulling out my chair for me, opening doors for me, etc…seriously, this kid is a heart breaker. i finally admitted to him that I wanted him to marry my younger sister, but she’s probably a little too young. oh well.

keep in mind girls, this kid isn’t available for 3 years.:)

L. family

i cannot tell you how much i love everyone in this family, and how much i loved this session, despite the wet freezing cold weather.

gayle was my voice teacher in high school and college, and is practically my second mom! not only is she a wonderful voice teacher, she has one of the most amazing voices i have ever heard. i remember sitting in one of my first music classes in college, and hearing gayle sing just a couple of notes…overtones were bouncing all over the place; it was incredible. she is truly a powerhouse vocalist!

before high school, way back in my junior high days, i was best friends with melinda, one of gayle’s gorgeous daughters. melinda and i performed in many a show together, and took some acting classes together too. (am i remembering all of this correctly, melinda?) melinda, being way more awesome than me, continues to perform today. you’ve probably seen her mad skills and heard her beautiful voice; and if you haven’t, you will someday.

shooting this family was so fun and easy. i’d do it again in a heartbeat! i love you guys!

First shoot after maternity leave- C. Family

this was my first shoot after having liv…and it was so much fun! i was still in my sleep deprived mode (still kind of am), but it was so nice to get out of the house and do something creative and spend time with really great people.

i’m related to these folks and love them all so much! they are all such wonderful people, and i am a much better person for knowing them.

i want to write more, but my 2 yr. old is yelling for me (she’s supposed to be taking a nap). if only cute the cute blond on the far left was here to watch her; she is so good with little kids!

grandma andersen’s 80th birthday

we had lots of family come into town a while ago to celebrate my husband’s grandma’s 80th birthday! it was so much fun to see and spend some time with everyone! plus, we got to eat some really yummy food at “chef’s table.”oh, and the cake was my favorite. it was so good! i’ll have to find out who made it and let all of you know, because believe me, you want to know!

and thanks to nana and papa andersen (my mother-in-law and father-in-law) for entertaining ella! she loves you guys so much!
