this is how my little liv wakes up from naps. fun huh? and she gets even more excited when ella helps me wake her up. ella likes to play peek-a-boo with her.

i am so in love with my girls…this last week we (my mom, little sister, me and my two girls) hit the road and traveled down to St. George for the third time this year. and this time, the weather was great for swimming. i think i prefer it a little more warm, but it was still very nice. we sang songs and talked up a storm in the car, watched movies, read, swam, ate, played, and danced at the condo, and then headed back home.
pictures below are of us at the swimming pool. ella either gets crusty or just stares at me when my camera is out. so funny. check out her mad scientist hair, pink goggles, and pink life jacket out…yeah, she may not stand a chance when she gets into high school. j/k.Ella LOVES to swim, but doesn’t know the first thing about water and what to do in it. i really need to put her in swimming lessons.
liv liked the water. she just clung super tightly to me or my mom when she was in the water. I guess Ella did that too.
i love my girls! we had so much fun, and i’m so glad we went. thanks mom and em for the adventure!
p.s. i would totally blow up and frame this first photo. i love it. forget perfect hair, smiles, and posing. this picture is ella. wild, adventurous (not when it comes to water though), fun, and quirky.
in these last photos, she was really mad that i was taking her picture, and not letting her get into the water. thanks for putting up with mommy.

we went swimming in st. george. ella loved it. liv didn’t care for her first time in the swimming pool, but she likes it a little better now.
p.s. i drove to st. george by myself with the girls! i was so nervous, but it really wasn’t bad. as long as i have some type of book on cd, i’m good.

i’m alive, i promise! it’s been far too long since i have blogged, and i can’t promise it will be happening again anytime soon. i’m about to begin a math class, and am attempting to graduate before next december when my husband does. i’m also trying to raise two kids while my husband is always at school working on his masters or doing bishopric stuff for the ward. and sometimes, i even get to thinking about trying to perform again (that’s what i majored in).
in between all of that fun, we got to have the best of fun here at the pirate’s cove in las vegas, nevada. my dad designed this. yup, he’s pretty much a genius. he did the architecture and engineering for this place and it is incredible.

while exporting this photo, i completely forgot that the image needed to be re-sized to fit on my blog…it has been that long. and i haven’t been consistent with my “year of saturdays” project either, but as long as i keep trying, right?
saturday morning, daddy and ella are watching sesame street. ella is dressed and ready for the day, whereas daddy is still in his pajamas.
