pretty interiors, light, and churros.

i snapped these quickly during one of the bridal sessions last week. i’d love to spend more time and really really photograph this cabin…it was so gorgeous, so gorgeous that i find myself thinking about it at night, wishing somehow that someday i could own a cabin just like it.

i think i like light stuff. light rooms, light fabrics, light furniture, etc… it makes me feel, well, light.

side note that has nothing to do with anything: i also can’t stop thinking about churros. any ideas on how I can eat an awesome churro (or three awesome churros) without having to fly to disneyland or make them myself?

Wow, it looks so breezy and light like you said :) It’s totally a Shabby Chic look. Lots of white, antiques mixed with floral pops of color and airy fabrics.

When I read about your churro hang up I instanly thought, “what?, you live right by Costco. And you don’t need a membership to go by there food. They are the best. Now you have me thinking about Churros and we don’t have a Costco.” Iwant to live in that white room to. I know what it is about white it has this clean inviting appeal. I love it and would have it if I had no husband, no kids, and no dogs. lol

another bridal preview and i really want that location.

two bridal previews in a row…can’t help it though. i had back to back sessions of two gorgeous brides. i’m trying not to give details about this session until i do the full post, but i have to say, i haven’t stopped thinking about the location we shot at.

someday, in the future, i want a “location” just like that one.

She looks beautiful and I haven’t even seen her whole face yet. I love the way that you frame your shots. I’ve always loved your work, but I feel like I can also see you getting more creative in the way that you angle your lens and also in the way that you focus on the subject. Either way it’s a gorgeous shot and I can’t wait to see the full thing!

bridals, bridals, a consultation and a voice lesson.

busy busy day/weekend. i had a ton of fun shooting bridals yesterday and have another bridal session later today; plus a consultation and a voice lesson! believe it or not, i love busy days.

alycesun and donny wedding (finally up!)

i can’t believe it has taken me this long to get this wedding up….i blame the holidays, the bridal fair, and family sickness….but i think i may also have “i’m so tired of the computer-itis.” you’ve heard of that one right? i’ve heard it’s pretty common actually.

well, the holidays came and left, the bridal fair did the same but left me with a few gray hairs, and the family is still sick, but i believe my “i’m so tired of the computer-itis,” is on the mend. now, it’s time to show off aly and donny’s beautiful wedding!

it’s hard to pick favorite moments from this wedding, because it was all so incredible, and so fun! i guess i could just say that my favorite thing about this wedding was being able to spend time with alycesun and donny. they are such a fun, funky, and sweet couple. seriously, i had such a blast photographing them!

i had a really tough time narrowing down all of the images…but i did have a sample album made of their wedding with even more images, and i plan on blogging some of those spreads, so just know that there are more on their way. enjoy!

jacqui’s bridal preview and shooting her wedding tomorrow!

i’ll be shooting this gal’s wedding tomorrow! i know i know, i haven’t even posted her bridals yet, but it’s totally something to look forward to right? this girl is so gorgeous! anyway, wish me luck on my drive to manti, utah!

Can’t wait to see the pictures. We got married in Manti and had Baylie sealed to us there as well. I think it’s the most beautiful temple, like a castle.
