a christmas loves list and some thank you’s from me to you!

a Christmas list o’ loves:

family, always family.

singing Christmas music. all i want to do is get everyone and anyone and have a sing-a-long! (hey, gayle, pam, whitney, melinda, jana, emily….anyone from those families, are you doing one of those this year? can i come? and if i can, can i bring brandon and ella?)

hot cider. my mother-in-law makes the most delicious hot cider. my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Christmas decorations. i blogged about these here.

big smiles. big smiles are actually in fashion all year long!

Christmas p.j.’s. a family tradition.

sparkles. i probably a little too old to love sparkles…oh well.

games and crafts. i mostly like watching other people do these. j/k. has anyone played settlers of catan? isn’t it the best game ever?

sweets and other goodies. love these, can’t get enough of these.

Christmas stories. my favorite memories are of my family reading Christmas stories together. i can’t wait until ella will let me read to her. right now, she is in the phase where she just turns the pages back and forth as fast as she can.

i am so grateful for everything the holiday season brings, but i am most grateful for the gentle reminder of what life is all about. i am also so grateful for all of my clients who i also consider to be my friends; this year has been amazing, and it is all because of you! and thank you to everyone who follows my blog, i am so humbled and again, so grateful to have you as friends!

i hope all of you enjoy this beautiful season, and are able to spend time with those you love!

p.s. i would love to send you all a holiday card (that is, if i ever find a way to get a picture taken of my family…), so if you could email me your address, i will hopefully get one of those to you soon.

merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Utah Lifestyle Photographer - Christmas Eve Morning

my little elf likes to daydream.

we were gone for most of the day, so i’m just sharing another cute picture i found from the other day. this shot makes me think she’s received some of my genes….my girl likes to daydream….just like her mama.

hopefully there will be more time for blogging tomorrow; if not, happy holidays!

our third anniversary!

today i’ll be shooting some bridals, cleaning, working, and celebrating my 3rd anniversary with my husband!

i’ll be back tomorrow!

wedding album sample

i’ve been working away like a mad woman to get a wedding album designed for a bridal expo…and i’m excited to say that it’s finished and ordered! sad news, i’m not quite sure it will be done in time for the bridal expo. but that’s okay! this album makes my heart sing, and when my heart sings, there is no room for sorrow!

ella likes to chill in her laundry basket.

ella has been hanging out in her basket again…we used to put her inside of it when she was really tiny. there may be pictures on this blog…maybe not. i’ll have to post them sometime.

just a few days ago at my parents house, her aunts made this kind of a set up in the basket and dragged the basket, with ella inside, around the house (slowly, I promise). she’s been having us do the same around our place since. so funny.she also likes to pile blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals inside and then take them all back out again. over and over.

middle photo is ella watching “the little mermaid.” she only stays still and watches when the characters are singing. that’s my girl!

p.s. i know my girl is sporting a major mullet now. i guess i’ll have to get it cut soon.
