alyssa’s headshots and please ask your kids not to beat up ours.

i’m trying to play blog catch up and will be posting a few client sessions that should have been posted a while ago!

here are some beautiful head shots for a future missionary. isn’t she gorgeous? it isn’t fair that someone can have perfect eyes, perfect skin, perfect hair, and perfect teeth!

my husband and i were talking the other day about how our kiddos are probably going to end up with my crooked teeth and his awful eye sight. they may also be brilliant musicians and possibly be incredibly intelligent; in other words…our poor kids will be running for their lives during elementary school, junior high school, and possibly high school.

back to this gorgeous girl…

thanksgiving adventures

lots of family time over the thanksgiving holiday, and it was fantastic. thanksgiving day was spent with my husbands family, eating the most delicious food ever. i seriously doubt there is anyone in the world who can make stuffing that tastes as yummy as my mother in law’s. the whole meal was amazing, and i still find myself wishing i could have eaten more.

the next day, on a whim, we headed to st. george to spend some quality time with my family. we probably ended up spending more time in the car, but still had a lot of fun and relaxing time. i love fun and i love relaxing; they are two of my favorite things.

and speaking of car time…on the way home, we discovered that the metal stuff in the tires (do you know what i’m talking about?) was showing through and we needed to get new tires on of the car…luckily we were able to do that in about 15 min. and hit the freeway again. our spontaneous trip ended up being an expensive one, but at least we got home safely. i am very thankful for that!

how was your thanksgiving?

happy thanksgiving

happy thanksgiving everyone! i hope everyone will be able to spend time with those they love and eat tonz of delicious food! that’s what we plan on doing!

i am so grateful for my husband, brandon and beautiful daughter, ella. family has always been and will always be, the most important thing in my life. i love them so much. i want to write more, but i just discovered we have a “code brown,” if you know what i mean.

i’m off to save the day.

i’m really not sticking my tongue out at you…did i spell “tongue” right?

working on the intro deelie for my website…it’s up so you can see it, but we’re still working on it. so much fun. i think i’m going to do a new video type thing a few times a year. so so fun.

this is a still from one of the videos we shot…i would have put it in the intro thing because i think it’s so funny, but brandon said that i probably don’t want to be sticking my tongue out at people coming to view my work. i think he had a good point, but don’t you still just love this picture?!

busy day around the house. i’ve been catching up on emails, cleaning, playing hard, working, and reading lots of books with elle belle. her favorite book is, “peek-a-boo baby.” we read that multiple times a day.

anyway, hope everyone is getting excited for thanksgiving! i love celebrating thanksgiving.

p.s. i don’t think this photo is meant to be this large…but i like it this size!

tried to look cute for my busy business day!

spent lots of time working on a little new business make-over type thing, which involved me getting super ready for the day, and being in front of the camera. i had lots and lots of fun and got to spend a big chunck of my day with my husband brandon. thanks for helping me out with this babe!

p.s. interesting conversation going on at a little sussy…i had a few things to say but only argued one, which was that i didn’t quite believe that “timeless” existed. i know that i am really going against the grain here, but i wouldn’t be me if i didn’t. what are your thoughts?
