so this is really isn’t typically my style, but i’m not gonna lie, i totally love it. just finished editing this killer bridal session. i can’t wait to show them to you!

p.s. elle is doing a lot better, her fever is mostly gone but she has developed an awful croupy cough (spelling?). i was up with her a few times last night, at one point we just stayed up for two hours watching “peter pan.” kind of fun, but very exhausting. hope to be better soon so i can get cracking!

still sick here. ella is on the mend (low temp!) but i am definitely starting to feel it. time for a much needed nap.

ella has officially been diagnosed with the swine flu. we had a pretty miserable night (at one point, her temp was over 105) and it hasn’t gotten much better. the doctor also said that brandon and i will most likely get it as well, we would be so grateful if you would keep us (especially ella) in your thoughts and prayers.

ella’s first birthday party was so much fun. a lot of work was put into it and it was a bit exhausting but it was all worth it!
we had a picnic themed party. ate outdoors on blankets under twinkle lights and also on my in-laws lovely patio. we ate fruit, chicken pasta salad, and a leafy green salad along with raspberry lemonade. for dessert, we ate a delicious lemon birthday cake and white chocolate strawberry homemade ice cream. guests were sent home with lemon poppyseed cake with an orange glaze.

ella is sick today, and we are heading to the doctors in about an hour. i really hope she doesn’t have swine flu. keep your fingers crossed for us!
